Job summary

City National Bank seeks an Investment Consultant to expand relationships with Independent Financial Advisors, CPAs, and attorneys, driving new assets under management through a professional consultative sales approach.

You will manage transitions from sales to portfolio management, coordinate new accounts, and present to clients and centers of influence, traveling up to 40–50% as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of financial experience, preferably in Investment Management.
• 2 years of experience in the High Net Worth or Ultra High Net markets.
• 2+ years delivering formal client presentations.
• Ability to travel 40-50% of the time.
• FINRA Series 65 (or 66), or the ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand referral networks with Independent Financial Advisors, CPA firms, and attorneys.
• Keep advisors informed about firm and industry developments.
• Coordinate transitions from sales to portfolio management smoothly.
• Facilitate new accounts and account transfers.
• Manage communications with advisors and clients.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations.
