Job summary

Schwab in Wayne, NJ is seeking an Investment Consultant (IC) in its Branch Network. You will learn hands-on, engage in needs-based conversations, and build client relationships while gaining coaching from Financial Consultants who drive client-first outcomes.

You’ll develop core consulting skills, manage outreach and follow-ups, and participate in Wealth Management University training. This role offers growth toward a Financial Consultant path with performance incentives.

Qualifications

• A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required.
• FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance licenses required.
• Relevant experience in financial services or client-facing roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply active listening and questioning to align solutions to client goals.
• Build relationship management through timely, client-focused support.
• Manage priorities across outreach, follow-up, and administrative work.
