Job summary

Pratt & Whitney's Rapid Prototype Casting Lab in East Hartford, CT is seeking an Investment Casting Quality Product Engineer to guide inspection and qualification of advanced castings for turbine engines.

You will partner with product leads to ensure dimensional and metallurgical conformance, develop tooling and mold designs, and support internal/external quality audits for aerospace components. Role is onsite; benefits apply where eligible. RTX is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8+ years experience or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access program information.

Responsibilities

• Lead RPCL to adhere to the P&W Quality Management System (QMS).
• Evaluate casting processes to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Approve work instructions and develop inspection processes and data reviews.
• Manage non-conformance data and coordinate resolution of QNs.
• Lead development of production inspection processes for investment castings.
• Support internal/external quality audits.
• Increase Manufacturing Readiness Level for new parts/technologies.
• Occasionally act as project lead for casting deliveries per specs.
