Placements24 is seeking a Graduate Financial Analyst for our client, a prestigious investment banking firm with a Welkom presence. You will assist in financial modeling, valuation analyses, and pitch books for M&A and capital raising, gaining exposure to high-profile transactions.

You will work with seasoned bankers on market research, due diligence, and client interactions, developing strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or related field.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, corporate finance, and valuation methods.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint; Bloomberg or Refinitiv familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial models, valuations, and pitch books for M&A and capital raises.
• Conduct industry research and due diligence on company targets.
• Support senior bankers in client interactions and deal execution.
• Analyze financial statements and develop projections.
• Prepare client presentations and internal reports.
• Monitor market trends relevant to deal activity.
