Job summary

Rockefeller Capital Management seeks an Investment Associate to join the Private Advisor team, focusing on analyzing potential investments across public and private markets. The role oversees day-to-day trading operations, supports client portfolio allocation, and conducts ongoing due diligence on existing and prospective investments.

The position collaborates with team analysts to manage trading operations, expand capabilities, and improve efficiency and scalability through ad hoc projects.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of research & financial analysis experience in the investment field
• 3-5 years of portfolio trading experience
• Options trading experience is a plus
• Demonstrated interest in research & financial analysis in the investment field
• CFA, CAIA, and/or MBA preferred
• Series 7 & 66, required

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the advisor team supporting investment portfolio management and trading operations; ensure timely trade execution
• Cover the trading desk during market hours and coordinate backup coverage
• Monitor portfolio positions for changing dynamics
• In-depth due diligence on public and private opportunities
• Analyze portfolio returns and contributors/detractors relative to benchmarks
• Assist in portfolio risk analysis and hedging techniques
• Maintain high standards of communication across teams
• Assist on projects to expand the group’s capabilities
• Assist with tasks requiring analytical mindset
