Job summary

Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT) in Wichita, KS seeks an Investment Associate to support underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution for semiconductor and infrastructure investments. You will build and maintain financial models and prepare presentations for senior management.

You will collaborate with Koch Labs and portfolio companies, travel up to 20%, and contribute to market analyses and investment decisions as part of our venture capital team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building financial models and analyzing company financial performance.
• Experience in corporate business development, mergers & acquisitions, or related business investments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing and delivering presentations to stakeholders and articulating a point of view.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to assess business performance, valuation, investment returns, and growth scenarios.
• Support strategic projects and special analyses that advance the firm's investment priorities
• Contribute to the underwriting, financial modeling, and due diligence activities for potential equity investments
• Prepare presentations on potential transactions and investments for senior management that identify and assess valuation, return profile, competitive advantage, risks, etc.
• Perform industry and competitive analysis related to potential investments and markets of interest
• Work with current portfolio companies to enhance their performance alongside KDT’s Koch Labs® capability
• Engage with industry-leading entrepreneurs and Koch executives
