Job summary

Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT) seeks an Investment Associate to join our Wichita, KS team. You will support underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution for early-stage investments in semiconductors and infrastructure, building financial models and presenting analyses to senior leadership.

You will work with portfolio companies to enhance performance and engage with leading entrepreneurs and Koch executives while contributing to strategic investment priorities and market research.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building financial models and analyzing company financial performance.
• Experience in corporate business development, mergers & acquisitions, or related business investments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing and delivering presentations to stakeholders and articulating a point of view.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to assess business performance, valuation, investment returns, and growth scenarios.
• Support strategic projects and analyses advancing investment priorities.
• Contribute to underwriting, financial modeling, and due diligence for potential equity investments.
• Prepare presentations for senior management that identify valuation, return profiles, competitive advantage, risks.
• Perform industry and competitive analysis related to potential investments and markets of interest.
• Collaborate with portfolio companies to enhance performance alongside Koch Labs capabilities.
• Engage with industry-leading entrepreneurs and Koch executives.
