Job summary

Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT) is seeking an Investment Associate to join our team in Wichita, KS. You will support underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution for high-potential investments in semiconductors and infrastructure, coordinating with Koch executives and portfolio companies.

As a member of the KDT team, you will build financial models, prepare investment analyses, and present findings to senior management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building financial models and analyzing company financial performance.
• Experience in corporate business development, mergers & acquisitions, or related business investments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing and delivering presentations to stakeholders and articulating a point of view.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to assess business performance, valuation, investment returns, and growth scenarios.
• Support strategic projects and special analyses that advance the firm's investment priorities.
• Contribute to the underwriting, financial modeling, and due diligence activities for potential equity investments.
• Prepare presentations on potential transactions and investments for senior management that identify and assess valuation, return profile, competitive advantage, risks, etc.
• Perform industry and competitive analysis related to potential investments and markets of interest.
• Work with current portfolio companies to enhance their performance alongside Koch Labs capability.
• Engage with industry-leading entrepreneurs and Koch executives.
