Job summary

Rothschild & Co in New York is seeking an Investment Associate to join the Five Arrows Secondary Opportunities team. You will work on lean deal teams, conduct market and company research, build and review financial models, and prepare investment memorandums for due diligence and committee discussions.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity or management consulting, strong accounting/finance fundamentals, excellent Excel/PowerPoint skills, and

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity or consulting.
• Strong fundamentals in accounting and corporate finance.
• Robust analytical and quantitative skills with financial modeling and valuation experience.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work across borders in a cross-functional investment team.

Responsibilities

• Work on lean deal teams to perform due diligence of investment opportunities and develop balanced investment recommendations.
• Prepare and present investment memorandums and participate in diligence discussions and investment committee meetings.
• Engage with general partners, company management, and industry experts to source and evaluate opportunities.
• Monitor portfolio performance and assist with reporting to limited partners.
