Job summary

Marquee Brands, a growth-focused private equity-backed consumer investment team based in New York, seeks an Associate/Senior Associate to contribute across the investment process and work with the operational team on strategic initiatives.

You will analyze consumer brands and services, build financial models, and help source opportunities while collaborating with senior professionals in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent academic credentials (undergraduate school and GPA).
• Must have 3-5 years of top-tier investment banking program experience.
• Ideally experience with consumer brands or consumer services, multi-unit concepts, but not a must.
• Exceptional quantitative and financial modeling skills.
• Strong judgment, critical thinking and written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and conducting comprehensive due diligence on potential investments across consumer brands/services.
• Performing market research on consumer products sectors.
• Building financial models, scenario analysis and returns analysis for investment opportunities.
• Preparing due diligence materials and investment committee memos.
• Assisting with debt financing in bank and broadly syndicated loan markets for M&A and business development.
