Job summary

Heritage Wealth Advisors in Pittsburgh and Virginia positions is seeking an Investment Analyst to join a 2–3 year development program. You will gain hands-on exposure to public and private market research, portfolio management, trading, investment reporting, and platform operations.

The role emphasizes structured training, mentorship, and increasing responsibility as you progress, with a starting salary range of $65,000–$75,000 plus benefits and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort organizing, analyzing, and manipulating financial and investment data.
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities.
• Demonstrated interest in investing and financial markets, including public and private markets.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• High degree of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and commitment to quality.
• Advanced Excel capabilities and financial modeling experience are beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Research public markets and support due diligence and monitoring.
• Assist private market investments including due diligence.
• Support portfolio management, trading, and implementation.
• Analyze portfolios and performance reporting.
• Prepare analyses and materials for clients and advisors.
• Learn investment platforms, models, and databases.
• Contribute to investment projects and platform enhancements.
• Participate in structured development and mentorship.
• Share knowledge to aid onboarding of new Analysts.
