Job summary

Mercer, a Marsh business, is seeking an Investment Analyst to join the Asset Class team in the Investments Business in St. Louis. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement requiring three days per week in the office.

You will support hedge fund data collection, reporting, and client-ready materials, working with senior analysts and portfolio managers to advance investment research and knowledge in a dynamic, technology-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in banking, investment, accounting, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Interest in investing and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Support managers and researchers by gathering information and data for analysis and maintenance.
• Enter monthly alternative investment manager data into internal databases with accuracy and reliability.
• Support asset class team in analytics, research, and client deliverables.
• Produce monthly and quarterly client and team reporting using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Assist in preparing for internal and external research meetings and for client discussions.
