Job summary

Aon plc is seeking an Associate Investment Consultant to join the Investment Advisory team. The role is hybrid and based in Leeds City Centre, with flexibility for other UK locations.

You will support consultants in building client relationships and delivering advice on UK pension schemes, endowments, and charities, leveraging Aon’s specialist teams. You will work across client projects, coordinate day-to-day activities, and contribute to ongoing market analysis while developing junior

Qualifications

• Experience with a major consulting, fund management or banking firm advising UK occupational pension schemes.
• Knowledge of investment markets and UK pension schemes.
• Good understanding of all main asset classes and their role in meeting client objectives.
• Understanding of how to manage a successful asset transfer.
• Understanding of the asset-liability process.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Progress toward CFA or IFoA examinations.

Responsibilities

• Work with lead consultants to build client relationships and understand client challenges.
• Deliver client service efficiently by coordinating with Aon’s specialist teams.
• Act as day-to-day contact for clients of all sizes.
• Lead or contribute to client projects and manage team workflows.
• Coordinate client work and ensure timely delivery to clients or lead consultants.
• Identify opportunities to innovate and drive efficiency.
• Develop junior colleagues into future associate consultants.
