Core Specialty Insurance is offering a Summer 2027 Investment Accounting internship in Cincinnati, OH. You will work on real investment accounting tasks under guidance from senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily investment activity within Clearwater.
• Monitor month-to-date activity and assist in the weekly portfolio overview.
• Prepare monthly investment reconciliations (custodian, Clearwater, Workday).
• Prepare and post monthly investment journal entries on GAAP and statutory basis for six insurance companies.
• Assist coordination among banks and state insurance departments for investment transactions.
• Maintain procedural documentation for assigned responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
