The City of New York's Office of Internal Affairs & Discipline (IAD) seeks an Investigator to manage caseloads related to employee misconduct and underperformance. You will conduct fact-finding interviews, perform fieldwork, and review records to build thorough investigative narratives.

Qualificações

• Four-year high school diploma and four years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
• Education/experience equivalent to (1) or (2) above.

Responsabilidades

• Manage caseloads of investigations involving complaints of employee misconduct and underperformance.
• Conduct fact-finding interviews of subjects and witnesses.
• Perform fieldwork, which may include surveillance, quality-assurance checks, and various undercover operations.
• Reviewing voluminous records and complex fact patterns.
• Testifying at administrative hearings and criminal trials.
• Conducting background investigations of employees, contractors and registrants.
• Training Compliance field audits, verify compliance with training regulations and standards pursuant to Local Law 196.
• Working on special projects and tasks, including as assigned by the Director of IAD.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours.
