Qualifications

• Must be admitted to the New York State Bar and have four years of recent, full-time, responsible legal experience after admission, including at least 18 months supervising other attorneys in an administrative, managerial, or executive capacity, or performing highly complex legal work.
• Incumbents must remain members of the New York State Bar in good standing for the duration of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise legal staff and help manage operations of the unit.
• Review and assist in assigning cases, conducting case reviews, and managing investigations and case investigative plans to ensure timely completion and mandated steps.
• Coordinate and make appearances in disciplinary hearings at OATH Trials Division and other venues.
