Los Angeles City Attorney's Office is seeking an Investigator in the Employee Relations Section to conduct sensitive personnel investigations and support HR on employee relations matters.
You will develop investigation plans, interview witnesses, review policies, and present findings. This on-site role requires discretion, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple investigations concurrently.
The Employee Relations Section of the Human Resources Division is responsible for all matters involving personnel functions for employees of the Office of the City Attorney. In this role the selected candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations into employee complaints, grievances, potential violations of policy and/or law, and other matters related to employee relations.
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Employee Relations Specialist, the Investigator will conduct sensitive personnel and administrative investigations. The Investigator will be responsible for:

The City also contributes toward the employee’s retirement benefit. City Hall East, 200 N. Main Street, Los Angeles. Position is subject to assignment at any location of the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney.
This position requires regular onsite work. Employer-provided parking is limited and may not be available for this classification.
