Los Angeles City Attorney's Office is seeking an Investigator in the Employee Relations Section of the Human Resources Division to conduct sensitive personnel investigations, grievances, and potential policy violations.
Under the Chief Employee Relations Specialist, you will plan investigations, identify witnesses, interview staff, collect and evaluate evidence, apply applicable laws and policies, and present findings to HR and management, testifying when needed.
The Employee Relations Section of the Human Resources Division is responsible for all matters involving personnel functions for employees of the Office of the City Attorney. In this role the selected candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations into employee complaints, grievances, potential violations of policy and/or law, and other matters related to employee relations.
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Employee Relations Specialist, the Investigator will conduct sensitive personnel and administrative investigations. The Investigator will be responsible for:

This position requires regular onsite work. Employer-provided parking is limited and may not be available for this classification.
