Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field from an accredited college.
• Two years of satisfactory full-time related investigation experience.
• Ability to interview witnesses, manage caseloads, and prepare investigative reports.

Responsibilities

• Use public records, databases, and social media to research case subjects
• Ensure compliance with agency policy and legal standards
• Conduct social media investigations to support investigations of nefarious activity
• Identify, preserve and document case-relevant online content
• Prepare spreadsheets, charts, and graphs, for internal and external use
• Prepare intelligence reports for situational awareness and operational needs
• Establish links and discern activity patterns within online and social media
• Assist with identifying emerging cyber trends, risk and investigative leads
• Support digital forensic examinations under established policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate logs, records and evidence tracking
