Job summary

The Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Corrections, Office of Law Enforcement Services, seeks an Investigative Support Supervisor to manage evidence, data, video systems, and AXON contracts. This role directs procurement, fleet and equipment, and staff support across multiple teams.

The supervisor coordinates with HR, the Attorney General, and Commonwealth’s Attorneys, ensuring compliance and effective operation of investigative functions.

Qualifications

• Experience in investigative support, analytical work, or law‑enforcement operations involving evidence handling, data systems, case documentation, or operational coordination.
• Knowledge of investigative processes, automated information systems, and digital evidence platforms.
• Skill in managing databases, preparing reports, handling confidential information securely, and using spreadsheet and Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and maintain compliance with security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manages all evidence, data, and operational support functions within the Office of Law Enforcement Services.
• Oversees procurement activities, fleet and equipment, and building maintenance contracts.
• Directs supervisory staff including Investigative Support Analysts and Data Analysts, coordinating with HR and legal offices.
