Job summary

The consultant will report to the Head of the Internal Investigation Function and collaborate with HQ, regional and country offices on complex investigations and related activities.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in law or related to investigations.
• Experience in leading complex investigations.
• Experience in international or multilateral organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts timely investigations aligned with UN Women regulations and instructions.
• Plans and conducts complex investigations of misconduct and mismanagement.
• Prepares written outputs including investigation reports with findings and recommendations.
• Provides quality assurance reviews of investigation products and files and ensures records are complete.
• Supports investigation-related activities and deliverables as needed.
