The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD is seeking an IDS Pharmacist to report to the Director of Investigation Drug Services. You will collaborate with principal investigators and research teams to ensure the efficient and accurate provision of investigational products and information, serving as a trusted resource for healthcare staff.

As a lead Pharmacist, you will assist in protocol development, policy implementation, and represent pharmacy in clinical trial activities.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college (PharmD or BS).
• PGY1 Residency or equivalent experience preferred.
• Current Maryland pharmacist licensure required.
• IV certification within 90 days of hire; HIPAA compliance training; IRB training; and DOT training for shipping hazardous drugs.
• 0–2 years of pharmacy practice experience.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with investigators and research teams to ensure accurate provision of investigational products and information.
• Serve as a resource for drug information, education in-services, and support in patient monitoring and medication management.
• Lead pharmacists for protocols and contribute to procedure and policy development; act as a subject matter expert for pharmacy services in clinical trials.
• Mentor pharmacy residents and students; collaborate with the IRB on study-related concerns.
• Manage investigational products (IP), including preparation and dispensing; participate in QA activities to ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations.
• Interact with pharmaceutical manufacturers/sponsors to support care and coordinate sponsor visits.
