Qualifications

• Knowledge of Arizona Revised Statutes and Medical Practice Act.
• Microsoft Word/Excel and Adobe products.
• Medical/Legal terminology.
• Investigative principles, practices, and techniques, preferably in a regulatory or licensing environment.
• Arizona statutes, administrative rules, and procedures governing the Board's Investigative and disciplinary processes.
• Case management systems and data tracking methods.
• Principles of supervision, workflow management, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assists with onboarding/offboarding of employees and training new staff.
• Conducts investigations of licensed physicians and physician assistants in AZ.
• Monitors investigation progress, prepares reports, and escalates where needed.
• Evaluates new tools and technology to improve efficiency.
• Helps develop policies and communicates department practices.
