Job summary

Avery Dennison in La Vergne, TN is seeking an Inventory/Warehouse Coordinator to support supervisors with inventory maintenance, movement and replenishment. The role runs 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, and requires forklift experience and strong safety awareness.

You will log materials in the ERP, perform cycle counts, coordinate with purchasing, and maintain quality standards while keeping work areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Must have previous forklift experience/certification.
• High School diploma or GED; or two years’ job related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Timely, accurate and safe receiving and storage of material into the facility.
• Uses ERP system to log and locate materials accurately.
• Inspects and stores/distributes all products in a timely fashion.
• Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type or product code.
• Reads production schedule and orders to determine items to move or distribute.
• Performs cycle counts and inputs.
• Analyzes inventory levels and creates requisitions to maintain quantities.
• Maintains reorder points for all inventories.
• Serves as local vendor liaison for purchasing function.
• Disposes obsolete inventory and expedites resolutions.
• Audits data collections for raw materials and supplies.
• Acts as contact for recycling partners and recycling program.
• Ensures all quality control standards are maintained; communicates issues.
• Completes forklift inspection checklist daily.
• Complies with forklift and warehouse safety policies.
• Conducts BBSO, LOTO and Safety Audits.
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds.
• Keeps work areas safe, clean and in good condition.
• Follows supervisor instructions and may perform other duties.
• Regular attendance is essential.
