Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Supply Technician to support a government contract at Kings Bay, GA. You will receive, store, and issue equipment, maintain stock records, and conduct inventories while ensuring HazMat labeling compliance and safety standards.

The role requires a valid driver's license, forklift certification, and the ability to obtain necessary security credentials for Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay access.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Must have computer skills including database entry, report generation and standard excel spreadsheet capability.
• Two years' work experience as a material handler or warehouse worker; one year using automated supply system (Maximo preferred).
• Valid state driver's license required; forklift and Swing Loader certification up to 35 feet.
• Must pass government security investigation and maintain facility credentials; US citizenship required for Kings Bay access.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, issue equipment and maintain stock records.
• Conduct inventory and prepare HazMat labels; update HazMat labels as required.
• Operate forklift equipment and transport materials to other departments as needed.
