Job summary

WaveCrest Staffing Group's client is seeking an Inventory Technician to support inventory, chemical handling, and production operations. The role includes monitoring inventory, receiving and inspecting products, and coordinating chemical deliveries.

You will travel between customer sites, use handheld scanners and inventory systems, and follow safety procedures with PPE. A high school diploma is required and 1–2 years in inventory or production is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of inventory, material handling, or production experience.
• Chemical industry or chemical-handling experience preferred.
• JIT, VMI, or 3PO experience within the aerospace industry required.
• Strong communication, documentation, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory and replenish production bins, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Receive, inspect, and verify products and inventory documentation.
• Perform chemical compatibility checks, sampling, and chemical additions according to established procedures.
• Coordinate chemical deliveries and manage inventory using handheld scanners and inventory systems.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety procedures, including proper PPE use.
• Respond to chemical spills and communicate inventory or quality issues to supervisors.
• Travel between customer sites as needed.

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Technician to support inventory, chemical handling, and production operations.

• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Hours: Start as early as 5:00 AM; shifts may run until 3:30 PM, depending on the schedule
