Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Position Summary

The Kit Production & Inventory Lab Technician assembles, quality-checks, packages, and distributes specimen collection kits for clinical research and biospecimen programs. This role ensures kits are completed accurately and on schedule while following study protocols, informed consent requirements, SOPs, quality standards, and applicable regulations.

  • 80%: Kit construction, including project brief review, informed consent preparation, labeling, assembly, and quality checks
  • 20%: Inventory management for tubes, labels, forms, and other supplies
  • Assemble specimen collection kits according to study-specific instructions and timelines.
  • Review project briefs and prepare informed consent materials and study documentation.
  • Verify tubes, labels, requisition forms, collection materials, and shipping supplies.
  • Complete quality checks to ensure kits are accurate, complete, and shipment-ready.
  • Record production and inventory information using Excel, Smartsheet, and tracking systems.
  • Monitor supplies, report shortages or discrepancies, and receive, stock, and organize materials.
  • Label and package kits for domestic and international shipment.
  • Support shipping, receiving, courier coordination, and logistics activities.
  • Collaborate professionally with team members, couriers, vendors, customers, and other departments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to handle laboratory or clinical research materials precisely.
  • Dependable, punctual, adaptable, and able to work effectively on a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Shipping and receiving experience.
  • Experience in laboratory operations, clinical research, healthcare, manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics.
  • Experience with ERP, inventory, order-preparation, or laboratory tracking systems.
  • IATA or FedEx Dangerous Goods certification.
