Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pull material for lab technicians in a timely manner.
• Return materials to long-term storage and update FreezerPro daily.
• Integrate new stock material into inventory promptly.
• Monitor stock levels and work with procurement to replenish stock as needed.
• Assist Operations and Lab teams on an as-needed basis.
• Participate in quarterly inventory counts.

Summary

The Inventory Technician is responsible for receiving and pulling of raw materials and ensuring inventory accuracy. The activities involve, meticulous planning through cross-functional interactions and seamless flow of biomaterials from inventory to lab technicians.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that material is pulled and available for lab techs in a timely manner.
• Ensure that material is returned to their long-term storage locations and updated in FreezerPro daily.
• Integrate new stock material into inventory as soon as possible.
• Monitor stock levels of inventory and work with procurement team to replenish stock as needed.
• Assist Operations Team and Lab Team on an as needed basis.
• Participate in quarterly inventory counts

Qualifications

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• A strong background in NHA Operations and Inventory function is preferred

Education And/or Experience

• High school graduate or experience in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a biological or chemical science field preferred but not necessary.

Other Skills And Abilities

• Proficiency in a variety of computer software programs including MS Office
• Ability to work in a team laboratory environment with knowledge or familiarity with scientific terminology.
• Excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally.
