The Inventory Specialist will support a large-scale physical inventory and assessment of end-user technology assets across multiple locations in Chicago, IL. Working onsite within active business environments, this individual will document devices, peripherals, locations, floorplan information, and available network details according to established project procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite physical inventory and assessment activities in a consistent manner using documented processes, task lists, and quality-control procedures.
• Locate, identify, scan, and document end-user devices and associated peripherals.
• Capture required asset attributes, device locations, floorplan information, and available network information.
• Accurately record inventory information using project-provided laptops, barcode scanners, software, templates, and related tools.
• Support validation of inventory data and identification of missing assets, discrepancies, exceptions, and incomplete records.
• Complete assigned locations, departments, and work areas according to the established project schedule and productivity expectations.
• Follow quality-assurance measures and confirm that required inventory tasks and documentation are complete.
• Promptly communicate roadblocks, access issues, technical concerns, or documentation discrepancies to project leadership.
• Provide professional, customer-focused support while working with employees and operational teams.
• Participate in team check-ins, daily scrums, or status discussions as requested.
• Support revisits to locations when additional validation or inventory work is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
