Job summary

DSV is hiring a Warehouse Operator Specialist - Inventory for the D-Shift (Thu-Sun 7:30AM-6PM) in Fort Wayne, IN. The role leads a small team handling picking, receiving, and cycle counts while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety.

You will drive performance against SLA and KPI metrics, train new associates, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations. Requires prior inventory/warehouse experience and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply chain environment preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of inventory management systems and spreadsheets.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of associates.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of inventory associates, ensuring daily tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Monitor and drive team performance to ensure SLA and KPI targets are consistently met.
• Oversee picking, receiving, cycle counting, and returns processes.
• Identify inventory discrepancies and resolve them accurately and in a timely manner.
• Train and onboard new associates on processes, systems, and SOPs.
• Communicate daily updates and performance to the Inventory Manager.
