Job summary

Schneider in Green Bay, WI is seeking an Inventory Management Team Leader to ensure shops have the correct inventories for maintaining tractors and trailers. The role manages repair parts and materials and addresses procedures impacting equipment availability.

This on-site position requires leadership of a team and focus on inventory performance. You will lead, coach and mentor staff; analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure timely onboarding of parts for new equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; two years of inventory management experience preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred and strong leadership skills.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data reporting tools.
• Valid driver's license and meet DMV standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor a team of inventory associates.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends to lower costs or improve performance.
• Ensure new parts are available to onboard new equipment.
• Identify obsolete parts for return or sale.
• Review and analyze purchase reports.
• Provide inventory management recommendations to senior leaders.
