Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Inventory Team Lead in Fairburn, Georgia, to oversee daily warehouse operations and drive efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and accurate inventory control using RF scanners and WMS systems.

You will coordinate tasks, mentor team members, and ensure KPI targets are met while maintaining high-quality service for distribution across the US. Weekly pay and strong benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• RF scanner experience preferred/required.
• Forklift license required.
• MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Teams) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive continuous improvement for operational efficiency.
• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate daily work duties to maximize shift productivity.
• Inspire team members to improve KPIs using effective leadership.
• Ensure orientation and provide tools to perform jobs safely and effectively.
• Maintain daily paperwork and submit reports with action plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $19.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.50 Shift premium added for this shift
• Schedule: A Shift 6:00am - 4:00pm

Requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required
• Valid forklift operator's license certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective leadership skills
• Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) using the appropriate leadership styles and methods.
• Assist in proving appropriate orientation for employees and give them the necessary information, technology and tools to perform their jobs.Assist with promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Deal with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
