Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Inventory Team Lead in Fairburn, GA. The role will oversee warehouse operations, lead a team, and ensure efficient processes. Wage includes base pay with a shift premium and weekly pay, with comprehensive benefits and training opportunities.

The position requires forklift experience, RF scanner proficiency, and strong leadership. Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Teams) are preferred, along with prior warehouse and team leadership experience.

• One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• One year or more previous team lead experience preferred.
• One year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred.
• One year or more previous warehouse experience preferred.
• RF scanner experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift operation.
• Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to ensure optimal shift operations.
• Inspire team members to improve KPI performance using appropriate leadership styles.
• Provide orientation and tools to employees to perform their jobs.

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Inventory Team Lead in Fairburn, Georgia — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $19.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.50 Shift premium added for this shift
• Schedule: A Shift 6:00am - 4:00pm

Requirements

• 1 year of warehouse exp preferred
• Previous WMS experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft - Outlook, Excel & Teams

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required
• Valid forklift operator's license certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective leadership skills
• Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) using the appropriate leadership styles and methods.
• Assist in proving appropriate orientation for employees and give them the necessary information, technology and tools to perform their jobs.
• Assist with promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Deal with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
