Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking a warehouse/material handler to manage receiving, inventory control, and shipping documentation. The role involves counting, packing, organizing, and stacking materials, while ensuring accuracy and timely updates to customers.

You will work on-site five days a week, using CMPRO and ERP systems to track materials and support deployed systems. Strong Excel skills and physical capability are required.

Qualifications

  • Experience with shipping and receiving processes and data entry.
  • Minimum four years of inventory control experience.
  • Able to accurately process incoming material and record results.
  • Proficient in Excel to develop and modify spreadsheets for tracking equipment/materials.
  • Working knowledge of MS Access or ERP databases.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk long distances, climb inclines, ladders and stairs, and push/pull pallet jacks and rolling carts.
  • On-site work location: 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming material and count quantities against packing slips.
  • Organize material in the warehouse and consolidate as needed.
  • Stack material onto pallets and prepare for shipment.
  • Process issue and shipping documents and maintain MRRs.
  • Maintain inventory per engineering drawings and coordinate restocking with production.
  • Perform cycle counts and provide status updates to customers.

Job description

Description
  • Receiving incoming material
  • Counting package quantities and comparing them to packing slips
  • Organizing material in warehouse
  • Consolidating material as needed and stacking material onto pallets
  • Processing issue and shipping documents
  • Utilizing CMPRO and Dynamics NAV
  • Maintaining and tracking material and part requirements to ensure continued support of deployed systems and/or products
  • Performing kitting function for production and cable fabrication
  • Placing specific items into separate packages following parts list derived from drawings
  • Pulling material for shipments, cable kitting, and/or production
  • Maintaining inventory required by engineering drawings
  • Coordinating with production for restocking of any unused material
  • Providing status accounting to the customer and assures that material is on hand prior to work being accomplished
  • Reporting any discrepancies to the buyers and/or management
  • Performing on-going cycle counts
  • Delivering and/or pick-up equipment from different sites using company vehicle
  • Conducting Material Receipt Report (MRRs)

Requirements
