The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks an inventory professional to support a lean supply system across clinical areas. You will stock, track, and replenish supplies and act as the primary liaison between Distribution & Logistics and clinical staff.
Responsibilities include maintaining requisition, delivery, pricing, back-order and lot-number records, implementing the two-bin Kanban method, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless supply availability.

Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Manager or Supervisor, executes and administers a coordinated lean supply support system designed to operate efficiently and meet the needs of clinical areas throughout OSUWMC. Stocks and manages supply inventory levels within assigned clinical departments and serves as the primary liaison between the Distribution & Logistics team and clinical staff to support ongoing operational needs.
Maintains essential records and documentation, including requisition dates, delivery verification, invoice price confirmation, back-order status, and implant pricing. Ensures accurate tracking and reporting of supply chain data, including back orders, manufacturer numbers, expiration dates, product recalls, and lot numbers, to support compliance and inventory integrity.
Supports the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the two-bin Kanban inventory system and maintains all required documentation for accurate requisitioning and inventory replenishment. Demonstrates strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills while collaborating effectively with clinical and supply chain stakeholders to ensure seamless supply availability and operational efficiency.
Monday - Friday position, 6:00am - 2:30pm, with rotating weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or GED and one year of inventory management experience.
