Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years' warehousing/inventory control experience in automotive or related parts.
• Knowledge of parts, materials, and supplies for vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and driving history.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the shipping and receiving of supplies.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, materials, and tools; perform cycle counts.
• Review contracts to ensure vendor compliance.
• Participate in vendor interviews and assist in establishing contract specifications.
• Reconcile storeroom inventory against computer reports.
• Prepare fixed asset inventory and capital outlays for budgeting and auditing; research costs and specs.
• Ensure proper storage, accountability, and warehousing of all supplies and equipment.
• Distribute components and equipment to personnel and contractors.
• Create and complete purchase orders using the purchasing department's software.
