Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Lead to supervise a team, ensure accurate cycle counts and inventory levels, and drive corrective actions for defects. The role supports a 3PL operation with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

You will manage inventory processes, maintain records, and lead loss-prevention and continuous improvement efforts to deliver top-tier service to our customer base.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of recent experience in a warehouse inventory role.
  • 3 to 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience working with 4,000+ SKUs.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members.
  • Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize warehouse inventory efficiency, and meet or exceed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.
  • Verify inventory paperwork and accurately complete all necessary records and reports.
  • Ensure daily cycle counts are completed and help organize the annual audit.
  • Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory.
  • Implement continuous improvement action plans and implementing loss prevention programs.
  • Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed.

In this role, you will lead a team and ensure that physical cycle counts are performed, accurate inventory levels are maintained, account for all defective or damaged products, and provide appropriate corrective action. Your typical shift will be Monday - Friday from 7 am - 3:30 pm. As a 3PL provider, we will count on your leadership skills to help drive excellent service for our valued customer.
