Position Overview and Purpose:

The purpose of the Inventory Control Supervisor is to oversee the Inventory Control Coordinator and Inventory Control Lead, ensuring the maintenance of an accurate perpetual inventory. This includes assisting in cycle counts, identifying, researching, and resolving product count inaccuracies to preserve data integrity. The employee must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, maintain the expected work pace, and meet minimum productivity guidelines set by Arcadia.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

1. Supervise the process related to maintaining accurate perpetual inventory, product line information, and remedies for inaccuracies.
2. Schedule and supervise workforce to meet daily operational demands, including training, verifying certifications, and monitoring productivity.
3. Motivate the workforce, communicate growth opportunities, implement corrective measures, and conduct performance reviews.
4. Resolve inventory discrepancies through high-level conflict resolution and negotiation skills; communicate effectively with all levels of Arcadia personnel and customers.
5. Generate and utilize reports to monitor operations, research failures, and report on objectives, throughput, and KPIs.
6. Analyze unresolved inventory imbalances.
7. Monitor product integrity by verifying temperature, refrigeration, and cold chain continuity.
8. Assist in slotting evaluations to optimize operations across Receiving, Warehousing, and Shipping.
9. Perform cycle counts and verify documentation against perpetual stock.
10. Conduct root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies, research procedures, and present findings to management.
11. Ensure safety and compliance by enforcing PPE use, updating training, monitoring wages, and ensuring OSHA and food handling regulations are met.
12. Address concerns from other departments, staff, and customers.

Qualifications:

Associate degree with 2-4 years’ experience or a high school diploma with 4-5 years of related education and experience. Accounting skills are preferred. Proficiency in English, math, and advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required. Experience with slot picking programs, computer-based timekeeping, and Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System is preferred. Certification as a powered industrial truck operator is preferred; if not certified, must pass within 90 days. Ability to work independently or in a team, with strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency, is essential.
