GOAL:
Oversees the Inventory operations of about $27M of inventory, 40k SKU, 30k storage locations. Inventory supervisor must ensure system integrity and inventory accuracy by managing cycle count reconciliation, resolve inventory discrepancies, audit put away accuracy and ensure all processes meet zero-deft quality standard throughout the warehouse.
JOB RESPONSILIBITIES:
- Manage accuracy of inventory through cycle count, put away audits and bin reviews.
- Manage throughput activities for Put-away team and Inventory clerks.
- Maintain system integrity by monitoring and managing open TO report, investigating inventory accuracy failures through audits, process procedure reviews and transactional reviews to ensure a zero-defect standard.
- Ensure material meets the storage and handling requirements.
- Provide inventory reports and make recommendations on inventory accuracy improvements
- Operate machinery (forklift, order picker, etc) to perform cycle counts, bin reviews, put away audits, and reconcile discrepancies
- Provide data analytics on inventory for status updates
- Meet and exceed Goals and objectives for team
- Ability to hire, train, coach and hold direct reports accountable
- Assist or manage special projects or implementations within the warehouse.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business management
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language is required.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- Minimum 8-10 years of Inventory/Store management experience
- 3 or more years’ experience supervisor or team lead
- Must be Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and SAP
- Excellent data analysis skills and analytical mindset
- Understanding of Lean six Sigma Principles
- Experience working with cross functional departments
- Experience operating a forklift, certification a plus
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
