Job summary

ResMed in Greenwood, IN seeks an Inventory Supervisor responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and leading cycle counts. You will oversee inventory associates, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safe, compliant operations in alignment with company values.

Responsibilities include training teams, developing processes, analyzing data, and coordinating with IT for system enhancements. Shift: Mon-Fri 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, on-site at our Indiana facility.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years leadership experience in warehouse with inventory control and cycle counts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and maintain customer focus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory data, identify discrepancies, and investigate root causes.
  • Lead cycle count programs daily/weekly/quarterly with root-cause analysis.

  • Prepare reports and KPIs on inventory accuracy and performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support scheduling and interviews.

Job description

Let’s talk about the team and you: Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring compliance with inventory controls, leading cycle count programs, and partnering with Operations, Finance, and Planning to support business objectives. Oversees inventory associates and drives continuous improvement across inventory processes. You are accountable for delivering safe, efficient, and compliant operations while developing a culture that reflects ResMed’s values, standards, core competencies, and behaviors.

You will lead through people, process, and performance, ensuring that operational goals are met through clear expectations, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement.

Four key areas you will always focus on are safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity for your department/area.

Shift hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for training, mentoring, and developing team members.
  • Handle development of business processes, procedures and work instructions.
  • Develop, implement and maintain inventory control policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory data, identify discrepancies, and investigate root causes to resolve inventory inaccuracies.
  • Meet regulatory agency & SOX requirements.
  • Implement and maintain inventory cycle counting programs to ensure ongoing accuracy, minimizing disruptions to operations.
  • Lead cycle count programs (daily/weekly/quarterly), including root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure inventory flow & timely reconciliation.
  • Utilize inventory management software systems to track, monitor, and analyze inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborate with IT to optimize system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve inventory control processes.
  • Ensure the integrity of inventory data by overseeing regular system audits and reconciliations.
  • Continuously review and assess existing inventory control processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement standardized operating procedures and work instructions to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Recommend and implement technological solutions, such as automation or AI, to streamline inventory control processes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance and training on inventory management processes and best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork across different departments.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to develop a skilled and motivated team.
  • Prepare reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, stock levels, and operational metrics.
  • Assist the Manager, Inventory develop and implement KPI's which track and trend departmental performance.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Communicate inventory-related information to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Coach team members on performance and safety; provide inputs for performance evaluations and may be involved in pay actions including approving employee timecards, PTO requests, etc. Handle employee scheduling, participate in candidate job interviews, partner with the People Business Advisory.
Qualifications and Experience Required
  • Education - High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years proven leadership experience or relevant work experience in a warehouse environment with an emphasis on inventory control and cycle counts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software and Warehouse Management System.
  • Applies acquired expertise and exercises judgment to analyze and solve problems without clear precedent.
  • Analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
  • Must possess a customer‑centric commitment to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Energetic, self‑motivated and quick thinking with a positive attitude.
