Company Description

Tennant Solutions (TS) specializes in innovative packaging solutions for the clinical trial, laboratory research, and pharmaceutical fields while also providing alternative packaging solutions for various other industries. Since 2002, the company has grown to serve the global marketplace with locations in the United States and Belgium.

Due to current growth, we are looking to fill a Full-Time Inventory Supervisor to join our team.

Role Description

The Inventory Supervisor works under the direction of the Director of Business Operations and supports achieving daily production goals. In addition, this position serves as a leadership resource to team members, providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support, and advice. The Supervisor is in daily contact with the customer trouble-shooting issues in addition to maintaining reports.

This position has three direct reports and while primary hours will be on 1st shift, available for 2nd shift (3:30-midnight) will needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as main point of contact for daily operations for assigned account(s) as related to order fulfillment.
• Supervise 3+ Inventory staff to ensure duties are completed as specified.
• Work with Kitting Supervisors to determine the necessary production schedule to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Work with customers directly and within systems to forecast inventory required for upcoming projects to ensure timely completion.
• Work within customer requirements to ensure orders are filled in an appropriate order and timeline.
• Define, prepare, and generate reports on customer order KPIs.
• Manage all customer communication as related to material receipt and material transfer
• Contribute to customer specific action logs to ensure the customer is appropriately informed of delays and reason behind them.
• Responsible for training and maintaining training records inventory
• staff positions.
• Responsible for ensuring inventory orders are shipped and inventory in appropriately tracked in company inventory system.
• Complete customer incident reports related to errors in order fulfillment associated to inventory.
• Assist in production as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory role preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience in Inventory Management preferred
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with inventory management software is a plus
