Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is hiring for a stockroom/receiving role in Charlotte, NC. You will receive shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and support replenishment on the sales floor. You’ll handle ticketing, stock organization, and assist during peak periods to ensure excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years in customer service and stockroom experience, are comfortable with scanning equipment, and can lift items as needed. Full-time, on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years customer service experience preferred and stockroom experience.
• Ability to operate scanning equipment and POS system.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify the highest level of customer service standards to internal and external customers.
• Scan shipment as delivered and stock merchandise in the stock room or offsite locations.
• Ticket and stock merchandise for immediate distribution to the sales floor.
• Provide feedback to supervisor regarding inventory levels and damages.
• Organize stockroom by department and categories; ensure aisles are clear.
• Ensure merchandise is safely stored, properly ticketed, logged, and locatable.
• Pack and log merchandise for customer deliveries; transport to/from remote stockrooms.
• Maintain clean stockroom and assist on sales floor during peak times.
