Job summary

Galleher Industries in Kaufman, TX is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving, and quality control at our Kaufman operation. This role supports metal and wood production by ensuring materials are received, inspected, identified, stored, issued, and shipped correctly.

You will work closely with production, purchasing, sales, and site leadership to protect product quality, maintain NetSuite records, and keep material flowing to meet customer commitments.

Qualifications

  • At least three years of experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving, quality, or manufacturing operations.
  • Three years of forklift experience, including loading and unloading trucks and handling long or bulky materials.
  • Ability to read purchase orders, bills of lading, drawings, and product specifications and use measuring tools.
  • Working knowledge of inventory and ERP systems; NetSuite experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect raw materials and verify quantities, part numbers, and quality.
  • Enter receipts in NetSuite and complete put away within 24 hours.
  • Label, stage, store materials, and maintain accurate location records.
  • Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies with documentation.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Maintain clean, safe warehouse and inventory areas.
