Job summary

Galleher Industries in Kaufman, TX is seeking an Inventory Specialist to ensure accuracy of materials, shipping and receiving, and quality control in our warehouse and production areas. You will verify receipts, inspect materials, enter data in NetSuite, perform cycle counts, and coordinate with production, purchasing, and site leadership to keep materials flowing and orders on time.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in inventory control, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing ops, with metal/lumber preferred.
• Proficient in reading POs, B/Ls, drawings, and specs; able to perform basic inspections.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect raw materials, finished goods, and returns; verify quantities, part numbers, and paperwork.
• Report freight damage and discrepancies; document for vendors and carriers.
• Enter receipts in NetSuite and complete put away within 24 hours of arrival.
• Label, stage, store materials, and ensure NetSuite locations match physical inventory.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies with supporting documentation.
• Inspect incoming material, production output, and finished goods against drawings, specs, and samples.
• Contain nonconforming material and coordinate disposition with site leadership.
• Verify part numbers, quantity, quality, packaging, labeling, and paperwork before shipment.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse and inventory areas.
