Vantage is seeking a motivated Inventory Specialist, Temp, who under the direction of the Inventory Manager, will primarily be responsible for Inventory control of the PCB boards, inspecting and verifying components, and managing inventory levels. The Inventory Specialist must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent and prior experience in a similar role.
Requirements
We are searching for a candidate with:
- 2+ years of experience in an inventory role
- Able to use a computer and other office technology
- Familiar with data entry systems
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand and bend for long periods of time in a warehouse environment
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with budget management
- Attention to detail to identify defective products
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications

Duties and Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Conduct Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution
- Schedule categories for Cycle Count inventory and maintain strict records
- Oversee and evaluate stock rotation procedures
- Maintain adequate storage for warehouse and on-site inventory
- Maintain and evaluate inventory records on a quarterly basis
- Create an efficient space utilization plan
- Notify management of shortages or other problems that could impact product availability
- Instruct Brain room staff on proper procedures for locating and utilizing product inventory
- Check bulk orders for accuracy and quality prior to shipment
Work Conditions
- Working in a busy production floor with frequent interruptions
- Overtime hours as needed (nights, weekends, holidays)
