Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, Texas is seeking an Inventory Associate to monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels within the Inventory Management System. This role greets customers as needed and supports core values of service excellence.

You will perform daily stock counts, ensure proper ordering and receiving, review pending transactions, and keep shelves stocked while adhering to safety procedures. A high school diploma and 1+ year related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• HS diploma or GED with 1+ year related experience preferred.
• 21+ to drive for Company business per policy.

Responsibilities

• Performs stock counts in the Inventory Management System daily to ensure accuracy of product balances on hand.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels through proper ordering and receiving of product.
• Ensures all pending inventory transactions are reviewed and completed daily.
• Communicates with store director on inventory levels; researches shortages and corrects shelf conditions.
• Ensures product levels are maintained and replenished on shelves.
• Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working environment per safety procedures.
• Complies with all Company policies and procedures.
• Provides friendly, customer-service oriented attitude by greeting customers and responding to questions/complaints.
• Takes precautionary safety measures when using equipment and tools.
• Assists with other duties, including periodic inventory counts.
