Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel Memphis DC is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support contract logistics operations. You will monitor stock accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies at our Memphis distribution site.

The role requires 2+ years in inventory, proficiency with Excel, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years in an inventory role.
• Experience with cycle counting, auditing, verification, investigating, and analyzing inventory.
• Proficiency with inventory tracking software and Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile inventory and coordinate inventory procedures
• Implement programs to audit returns and move returned product to its proper location
• Process documentation to create a prompt credit transaction
• Conduct system searches to locate products
• Perform weekly cycle counts and make system adjustments
• Maintain accurate records to help facilitate shortage detection
• Inspect and correct inventory diagnostics
• Work with management on implementing loss prevention programs and improving management of inventory
• Work overtime and weekends when needed and perform other tasks as assigned
