Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter at our Shepherdsville, KY warehouse. You will count and verify inventory, process returns, and work with clients and OEMs on transfers using forklift and other equipment. This role supports efficient warehouse operations and accuracy across all product movements.

We require 1+ year experience in inventory environments, and familiarity with WMS. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds and may operate on 1st or 2nd shift, with a competitive

Qualifications

• High School or Technical degree required.
• 1+ year experience in inventories of a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of WMS systems.
• Proven basic math skills at the high school level.
• Must be able to read and comprehend written English to perform essential job functions and adhere to safety requirements.
• Ability to communicate detailed observations of inventory concerns in a timely manner.
• Ability to learn fundamental to intermediate aspects of current WMS and utilize for issue

Responsibilities

• Count and reconcile inventory, returns, damages, and overall stock in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with clients and OEMs on transfers using forklift, reach truck, order picker, or other equipment.
• Identify conditions affecting inventory accuracy and report findings to the team.
• Cross-train in internal operations to understand all material flow aspects.
• Stack pallets and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Use MH Equipment to move/store materials and maintain clean warehouse conditions.
• Adhere to OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other regulations; handle hazardous materials per certification.
• Receive, store, pick, pack, verify, ship as assigned to support full DC operations.
