Job summary

Freenome seeks an Inventory Specialist I (Contractor) to receive, store, track, and distribute materials supporting R&D laboratory, clinical, and commercial operations. You will work with scientists and partners in Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure accurate inventory and compliant workflows.

The role reports to the Manager, Inventory Operations and is an onsite position based in Brisbane, California, with an offsite warehouse in South San Francisco.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience with inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Forklift operation experience or certification (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound materials.
• Prepare and ship outbound materials per DOT regulations.
• Maintain inventory controls and SOX/compliance procedures.
• Maintain records of inbound/outbound materials.
• Perform regular inventory cycle counts.
• Enter data and transactions in ERP with accuracy.
• Review and handle expired materials per reports.
• Fulfill material requests for R&D and production.
• Ensure material availability in all locations.
• Support projects to keep locations organized and secure.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
