Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join the Parts Super Center team in Indianapolis, IN. The role focuses on accurate order filling, cycle counts, and maintaining safe, efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include counting, discrepancy resolution, receiving and stocking material, and processing shipments while ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should have inventory control experience and warehouse equipment certification where possible.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in inventory control or high-volume warehouse or distribution center preferred.
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• High School or GED - Preferred.
• Customer oriented and motivated with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel) and automated order entry systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counting, location maintenance, vendor returns, scrap, inventory processing, and related tasks using RF devices and WMS dashboards.
• Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies, receipt exceptions, shipping issues, returns, or damaged material.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and complete all control tasks per business requirements.
• Receive material from vendors/customers/other warehouses and verify quantities against packing lists.
• Prepare orders for shipping and ensure correct items are loaded for distribution.
